Mr. Semple is a Vice President in the firm’s Energy & Power Group.  Mr. Semple has worked on M&A and capital raising transactions across a variety of industries, including energy and power, environmental services, industrial minerals, infrastructure services, and telecommunications.  Within energy and power, he has advised a diverse range of businesses, including providers of oilfield products and services, transmission and distribution products and services, clean technology and energy efficiency products and services, and power generation equipment.
 
Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Semple worked as a Global Banking Associate at Deutsche Bank.  He earned an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.  Mr. Semple lives in Richmond with his wife and daughter.
