Mr. Bredrup founded and runs the Healthcare & Life Sciences Group at Harris Williams & Co. Over an 18-year investment banking career Mr. Bredrup has worked on numerous sell and buy side M&A assignments for domestic and international healthcare and life sciences companies as well as companies in the consumer products, paper and forest products, building products, power generation and technology industries. Other transaction experience includes initial and follow-on public equity offerings, structured securities offerings, senior and subordinated debt offerings, and debt and equity private placements.
Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co. in 1998, Mr. Bredrup was a Vice President with J. P. Morgan & Co and served in the firm's M&A and Equity Capital Market groups. Prior to business school, he was an investment banking Associate at PaineWebber & Co. (subsequently a part of UBS). Mr. Bredrup earned an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia. He lives in Richmond with his wife and his two sons.
