Mr. Ivey has completed engagements in sell side and buy side mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, public offerings, equity and debt private placements, and a variety of advisory assignments. In his over 13 years of investment banking experience, Mr. Ivey has advised clients in the industrial manufacturing, technology, business services, consumer products, and financial services industries, among others. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co. and helping to establish its Boston office, Mr. Ivey was a principal in the investment banking group of Tucker Anthony Sutro (now RBC Capital Markets). Additional experience includes KPMG Consulting (now BearingPoint, Inc.) and the institutional equities group of UBS Securities in London.
Mr. Ivey earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma academic honor society, and a B.S. from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. In 2005, Mr. Ivey was selected as one of the Boston Business Journal's 40 Under 40, an award given to 40 of the region's top young professionals. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and three children.
