May 5, 2009 - Harris Williams & Co. advises Lafarge S.A. in the sale of its Atlantic Canada Asphalt and Paving Division to Municipal Group of Companies

Harris Williams & Co. is pleased to announce the sale of Lafarge S.A.'s Atlantic Canada Asphalt & Paving Division to the Municipal Group of Companies. The acquisition includes the asphalt and paving assets of Lafarge in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada, which includes five asphalt plants and more than 200 employees. Harris Williams & Co. acted as the exclusive advisor to Lafarge. The transaction closed on May 1, 2009, and was led by John Neuner, Derek Lewis and Luke Semple from the firm's Richmond office.
