Harris Williams & Co. Advises Manatron, Inc. in its Sale to Thomson Reuters
Harris Williams & Co. announces that Manatron, Inc., a portfolio company of Thoma Bravo, has been acquired by strategic buyer Thomson Reuters (NYSE:TRI). Harris Williams & Co. advised Manatron, with Garin Arevian and Rahul Swani executing the transaction from the firm's Technology, Telecom & Digital Media (TTDM) Group in Boston.
"Manatron's leading market position, high barriers to entry and growing recurring revenue base made it a very attractive acquisition target for strategic buyers, who are increasingly placing a premium on revenue visibility," commented Garin Arevian, a director in Harris Williams & Co.'s TTDM Group. With over 70% of the TTDM Group's recent deals sold to strategic buyers, including transactions with Dell, Nuance Communications, TransUnion and Epiq Systems, Harris Williams & Co. continues to leverage its global relationships to deliver superior results for its clients.
"Manatron is the only provider of an end-to-end property tax management software solution from land registry to tax billing and collection. The combination with Thomson Reuters further enhances Manatron's global reach and ability to address growing demand from local and foreign governments to establish new property management systems or to optimize existing tax collections," added Rahul Swani, Vice President in HW&Co's TTDM Group.
