Harris Williams & Co. Promotes 12 Senior Professionals

Harris Williams & Co., a preeminent middle market investment bank focused on the advisory needs of clients worldwide, announces that it has promoted 12 senior professionals from the firm’s Boston, Frankfurt, Minneapolis and Richmond offices. Sam Hendler and Geoff Smith have been promoted to managing director. Jeff Burkett, Brant Cash, Lars Friemann, Paul Hepper, Jershon Jones and John Klim have been promoted to director. Jacques Fu, John Lautemann, Andy Warczak and Mike Williams have been promoted to vice president.  The promotions expand the senior capabilities across several of the firm’s Industry Groups.

Mr. Hendler is a managing director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group. Mr. Hendler has worked on M&A transactions, private placements and corporate divestitures with a focus on SaaS software and technology-enabled services businesses.

Mr. Smith is a managing director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Group.  Mr. Smith has advised clients on M&A and strategic advisory assignments across a variety of healthcare segments, including post-acute and alternate site care, payer and provider services, and medical and life science devices and products.

Mr. Burkett is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Transportation & Logistics Group.  During his career, Mr. Burkett has worked on M&A advisory, various capital market financings and corporate strategy and shareholder defense assignments.

Mr. Cash is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Consumer Group. Mr. Cash has advised public and private companies on M&A and capital raising assignments across a variety of industries including consumer products, retail and restaurant, food and beverage, printing and packaging, business services and financial services. 

Mr. Friemann is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Industrials Group. Mr. Friemann has advised clients on M&A, distressed sale, strategic advisory and financial restructuring assignments across a variety of industries including automotive, rail, transportation and logistics, business services, energy and power, healthcare and consumer products, among others.

Mr. Hepper is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Group. Mr. Hepper has worked on M&A and capital raising transactions across a variety of healthcare segments, including pharmaceutical services, post-acute and alternate site care, ancillary services and outsourcing, and medical and life science devices and products.

Mr. Jones is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Transportation & Logistics Group. Mr. Jones has advised clients on M&A and capital raising transactions across a variety of industries, including transportation and logistics, automotive, advanced manufacturing, business services and consumer products.

Mr. Klim is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Business Services Group. Mr. Klim has advised clients on M&A and capital raising transactions across a variety of industries, including outsourced facility services, energy services, specialty distribution, direct marketing and traditional media.

Mr. Fu is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Group. Since joining the firm, Mr. Fu has advised clients on M&A transactions across a number of healthcare sectors, including multi-site healthcare providers, alternate site care, outsourced clinical services, pharmacy services and healthcare information technology. 

Mr. Lautemann is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Industrials Group. Mr. Lautemann has advised public and private companies on M&A and capital-raising transactions across a range of industrials sectors, including advanced manufacturing, chemicals, packaging, building products and metals, among others. 

Mr. Warczak is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Consumer Group. Mr. Warczak has advised clients across a variety of industries including consumer products, food and beverage, retail and restaurant, building products, transportation and logistics and business services, among others.

Mr. Williams is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Industrials Group.
