Harris Williams provides Analysts and Associates with the means to develop their skills in business communication, strategic thinking, modeling, and client-facing work in collaboration with the firm’s leadership.
From pitching the business to sealing the deal, Analysts are highly trained and valued members of every Harris Williams team. Working closely with Associates through Managing Directors, clients, and prospective buyers, analysts help pitch the business, prepare the company for market, market the deal, and close the deal. The Analyst program is a 2- to 3-year program in the U.S. (program length varies in Europe) with progressive, staged training to learn skills critical to being an active member of the team.
Each summer, new Analysts from our worldwide offices convene in Richmond for an intensive training program designed to integrate our new colleagues into our culture, provide thorough knowledge of the firm’s practices, and prepare our Analysts for the robust deal work ahead. Our rigorous training program is just the beginning of an extensive learning experience at Harris Williams.

The completion of our Analyst program is the start of new opportunities, whether Analysts transition into the Associate role or move on to a new company.
