Harris Williams & Co. Promotes 16 Senior Professionals, Enhancing Senior Capabilities Across the Firm

Harris Williams & Co., a preeminent middle market investment bank focused on the advisory needs of clients worldwide for 25 years, announces that it has promoted 16 senior professionals from the firm’s Boston, London, Minneapolis, Richmond and San Francisco offices. Ryan Budlong, Matthew Engel, Brent Spiller and Matt White have been promoted to managing director. Ryan Freeman, Doug Kinard, Eric Logue, Brad Morrison, Alex Murrill and Jonathan Organ have been promoted to director. Camille Ashley, Josh Garner, Ricky Ng, Andy Leed, Dan Linsalata and James O’Malley have been promoted to vice president. The promotions expand the senior capabilities across several of the firm’s Industry Groups.

Mr. Budlong is a managing director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Consumer Group. Mr. Budlong has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions for companies providing products and services to a variety of segments within the consumer industry including branded and enthusiast consumer products, food and beverage, restaurant and retail and consumer services.

Mr. Engel is a managing director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Richmond office.  Mr. Engel was with Harris Williams & Co. from 1994 until 2000, and returned to the firm in 2014 after working in private equity.

Mr. Spiller is a managing director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Consumer Group. Mr. Spiller has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions, capital raise and strategic advisory assignments across a variety of sectors within the consumer industry, including branded consumer products, infant and juvenile, enthusiast/lifestyle brands, lawn, garden and pet, consumer durables, consumer service and franchised businesses, and specialty retail and e-commerce, among others.

Mr. White is a managing director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Energy, Power & Infrastructure Group. Mr. White has worked on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions for companies providing products and services to a variety of segments within the energy, power and infrastructure industry including industrial and infrastructure services, electric power and natural gas utility services, offshore and onshore oil and gas, clean technology and energy efficiency.

Mr. Freeman is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Consumer Group. Mr. Freeman has advised private and publicly traded companies on mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory assignments across a broad range of sectors in the food and beverage and restaurant and retail segments.

Mr. Kinard is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Aerospace, Defense & Government Services Group. Mr. Kinard has extensive advisory and operational experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, with expertise in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financings. Mr. Kinard has also advised companies across other industries including energy and power, transportation and logistics, consumer products, industrial services and advanced manufacturing.

Mr. Logue is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Industrials Group. Mr. Logue has worked on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions for companies providing products and services to a variety of industries including advanced manufacturing, industrial technology, business services and technology.

Mr. Morrison is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Industrials Group. Mr. Morrison has extensive experience advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory assignments in the middle market across a range of industries, including packaging, chemicals and specialty materials, building products, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing and business services.

Mr. Murrill is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Industrials Group. Mr. Murrill has worked on buy- and sell-side advisory and capital raising assignments including mergers and acquisitions, public to private transactions and initial public offerings across a variety of sectors including advanced manufacturing, flow and process control, packaging, building products, energy and power equipment and technology.

Mr. Organ is a director in Harris Williams & Co.’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group. Mr. Organ has worked on numerous advisory assignments including mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, PIPEs, initial public offerings, restructurings and shareholder defense assignments across a variety of technology businesses and has a particular focus on vertical and horizontal software, internet and digital media and tech-enabled services.

Ms. Ashley is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group. Ms. Ashley has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions and growth equity transactions across the internet, digital media, software and technology-enabled business services sectors.

Mr. Garner is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Business Services Group. Mr. Garner has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions across multiple industries, including business services, specialty distribution, industrials, building products and consumer.

Mr. Ng is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Group. During his career, Mr. Ng has worked on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions across a variety of healthcare segments, including alternate site care, ancillary services and outsourcing, durable medical equipment, and medical and life science devices and products.

Mr. Leed is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Technology, Media & Telecom Group. Mr. Leed is focused on advising leading software and internet businesses on mergers, acquisitions, recapitalization and growth capital transactions across a variety of sectors including SaaS and application software, data and analytics and digital media, in verticals including supply chain and logistics, education, healthcare and energy, among others.

Mr. Linsalata is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Technology, Media, & Telecom Group.  Mr. Linsalata has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions across a variety of sectors, including SaaS and application software, digital media, technology-enabled services, with a focus on healthcare IT. 

Mr. O’Malley is a vice president in Harris Williams & Co.’s Transportation & Logistics Group.  Mr. O’Malley has advised clients on merger, acquisition and corporate advisory assignments across various key market niches within the transportation and logistics value chain.  He also has advisory experience in healthcare and life sciences, specialty distribution and consumer industries.
