Harris Williams & Co. Promotes Thirteen Senior Professionals

Harris Williams & Co. announces that it has promoted thirteen senior professionals from the firm's London, Minneapolis and Richmond offices. Tim Alexander, James Clark, Derek Lewis, Patrick McNulty and Cheairs Porter have each been promoted to managing director. Joe Conner, Brian Lucas, Francois Morin, Chris Rogers and Geoff Smith have each been promoted to director. Jershon Jones, John Klim and Luke Semple have each been promoted to vice president. The promotions expand the senior capabilities across several of the firm's offices and industry groups.

Alexander has been promoted to managing director in the firm's Minneapolis office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s Consumer Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Alexander was a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers Global Mergers and Acquisition Group.

Clark has been promoted to managing director in the firm's Richmond office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Clark was an investment manager in Ericsson AB's strategic venture capital group and a manager in Arthur Andersen's Strategy, Finance and Economics practice.

Lewis has been promoted to managing director in the firm's Richmond office. Lewis joined the firm more than a decade ago following the completion of an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. From 2002 through 2004 Lewis was stationed in London, where he focused on cross-border transactions and helped build the firm's relationships internationally.

McNulty has been promoted to managing director in the firm's Richmond office. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., McNulty was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and UBS. Additional experience includes operations and consulting roles with Lockheed Martin IMS.

Porter has been promoted to managing director in the firm's Richmond office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s HCLS Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Porter was an investment banking associate with Merrill Lynch & Co. and was an associate director of research at the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare-focused consulting firm.

Conner, promoted to director in the firm's Richmond office, heads Harris Williams & Co.'s Transportation & Logistics (T&L) Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Conner worked for more than seven years in a number of finance, marketing and business development roles at CSX Transportation, an international multimodal transportation company with railroad, ocean shipping, barge, third-party logistics and intermodal operations.

Lucas has been promoted to director in the firm's Richmond office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s Energy & Power (E&P) Group in the firm's Richmond office. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Lucas was an investment banker at JP Morgan and Robinson-Humphrey.

Morin has been promoted to director in Harris Williams & Co. Ltd's London office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s Technology, Telecom and Digital Media (TTDM) Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Morin was a vice president in the Corporate Advisory Group at The Blackstone Group.

Rogers has been promoted to director in the firm's Richmond office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s Aerospace, Defense and Government Services (ADG) Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Rogers worked in the strategy consulting practice at Booz & Company and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Smith has been promoted to director in the firm's Richmond office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s HCLS Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Smith worked as an associate in the Global Equity Research Group at Putnam Investments and as a consultant in the Strategy Practice at Kurt Salmon Associates.

Jones has been promoted to vice president in the firm's Richmond office. Jones joined Harris Williams & Co. following the completion of an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Klim has been promoted to vice president in the firm's Richmond office. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Klim was an equity analyst at Credit Suisse covering the media industry, including newspapers and publishing, broadcasting and out-of-home advertising.

Semple has been promoted to vice president in the firm's Richmond office and is a member of Harris Williams & Co.'s E&P Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Semple worked as a global banking associate at Deutsche Bank.
