It’s an artistic process that blends psychology, math, and finance. It requires creativity in thinking, communication, and strategy. I enjoy bringing those together to deliver the best service for our clients. We have a high-performing team that is intelligent, driven, and focused on the same goal of making our clients’ objectives a reality.

Jason Bass is a managing director at Harris Williams, serving as co‑head of M&A as well as co‑head of the firm’s Industrials Group and Transportation & Logistics Group.

As co‑head of M&A, Jason works across the firm’s eight Industry Groups to encourage collaboration, strengthen engagement, and support effective execution for Harris Williams clients. He has broad experience working with global clients across a variety of sectors, with significant involvement in the automotive and heavy‑duty aftermarket, industrials, and third‑party logistics sectors.

Jason has nearly 30 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments. He joined the firm in 2012 and is based in our Richmond office.

Education: B.S. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce
